I SCREAM you SCREAM we all SCREAM for ICE CREAM!

We had a fantastic Happy Day today! We decided it was time to drag the ice cream maker out of the closet. Lyllian had a friend over to play so this was a great activity to keep us all entertain.

First we had to scald the milk, and mix in the rest of the ingredients.

It's ready to chill out in the fridge!

After 30 minutes it was time to put it in the maker and pack in the ice and salt!

Everyone took turns pouring in ice and rock salt.

Also a good book for organizing your thoughts on how you want your homeschool to be. Lots of good tips on creating a learning environment and guiding a large family

Honey for a Child's Heart by Gladys Hunt

This is a great book for compiling book lists. It is organized by age and genres. A very good resource to have on the shelf.

A note from Heidi

Hello Friend!

I have been absent from this blog for a long time. A lot has been going on in this life journey. I am trying to get back into sharing about my passion for homeschool and motherhood. I find it to be such an uplifting outlet. The look and content of the blog has been simplified from what it was. I am going to continue to make changes for awhile until I get it just right.

I have removed several of my tabs for now until I can update the info for the coming school year.

A bit of news: In November we welcomed baby #7--a girl!
